The cost is dependent on various factors, such as the particular software being licensed and the amount of support and other terms. Factors that increase the license cost include but not limited to, the complexity of the software, any services we host for you, data backups, expected uptime of services, feature request, non-critical bug fixes. Critical bug fixes do not impact license price.

SylvanBytes funds its work yourself, so it charges license fees to support development. These fees can be a one‑time payment or a recurring subscription. Depending on the agreement, the amount can be as small as the price of a coffee or as large as what it would cost to pay a skilled engineer for a year.

The cost of a commercial license can be free if the organization requesting the license has made significant contributions to SylvanBytes projects or other open source software.
